We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our seasonal farm team. Duties
- Assist with harvesting, and packing crops for storage
- Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Conduct general farm upkeep such as repairs, and pest control measures
- Handle heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies, equipment, or harvested crops
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and machinery to promote safety and productivity
Experience
- Prior experience working in agricultural or outdoor manual labour environments is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with farm machinery and power tools is advantageous
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs, quantities, or distances accurately
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work
- Willingness to learn new skills related to farm maintenance, and small equipment operation
