Reporting directly to ownership, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of the organization, including operations, financial performance, employee leadership, customer relationships, compliance, contract management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all day-to-day business operations.
- Drive operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
- Oversee hiring, performance management, employee relations, and team development.
- Manage key customer relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Review job profitability, financial performance, budgets, and operational costs.
- Approve payroll, accounts payable, and operational expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, insurance requirements, and safety standards.
- Review and negotiate contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships.




- Manage subcontractors and external service providers.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for sales growth and operational improvements.
- Support the team where needed and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of senior leadership experience within transportation, logistics, fleet management, field services, municipal services, or a related industry.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and operational performance.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage employee relations.
- Experience overseeing customer relationships and contract-based services.
- Knowledge of transportation compliance, commercial insurance, and safety requirements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on leadership style with an entrepreneurial mindset.
