Due to continued growth, Northland Floral is looking for a Part time Weekend Floral Merchandiser to support our retail customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

About the Position

This is a part-time weekend position responsible for visiting a group of retail stores throughout the GTA to merchandise Northland Floral products, complete store audits, maintain product presentation, and communicate store conditions to the Merchandiser Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Complete scheduled store visits and merchandising activities throughout the GTA

· Check product availability, presentation, freshness, and overall display condition

· Merchandise bouquets, fresh-cut flowers, and potted plants according to Northland Floral standards and store requirements

· Refresh and maintain floral displays as required

· Remove damaged, expired, or unsaleable product

· Complete store audits, count sheets, and required in-store documentation

· Take and submit display and product photos (use your own phone)

· Identify store-level issues, product needs, or opportunities and communicate them to the Merchandiser Manager

Requirements:

· A G Class driver's licence and a clean driving record

· Previous merchandising, retail experience is an asset





· A friendly, professional, and approachable manner

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· The ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, and handling floral products and boxes

· The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products as required for store merchandising activities up to 50lbs

· Flexibility to work additional hours during peak floral holidays, based on business needs

· Access to a reliable vehicle

Schedule & Compensation

· Part-time: approximately 12-16 hours per week

· Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays

· Early morning to afternoons

· Approximately 6-8 hours per day

· Weekend hours may increase during peak holiday periods based on business needs, including Valentine's Day and other major floral holidays

· Hourly rate: $20.00/hour

· Kilometre reimbursement: $0.50/km

· GTA-based route with travel between assigned retail locations

· Company vehicle provided for work-related travel, where applicable
