Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Guitar Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in guitar performance and music theory, with experience teaching students of various ages and skill levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct personalized lessons for students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Develop lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.
- Teach and reinforce fundamental techniques, music theory, and performance skills.
- Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential in a supportive environment.
- Prepare students for recitals, examinations, and other performances.
- Communicate progress and goals effectively with students and parents.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Strong background in music performance and music theory.
- Proven experience teaching music to students of various ages and abilities.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Degree in music or equivalent experience.
- Professional experience as a piano performer and teacher.
- Ability to read sheet music and knowledge of music theory.
