Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Upsell retail hair care products and treatments that complement clients’ styles while enhancing their overall experience.
- Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their desired looks, hair care routines,



and aftercare instructions to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep detailed records of services provided and client preferences for future visits.

Skills

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clients.
- Expertise in various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, perming, and styling.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon setting.
- Ability to effectively upsell products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly understand client needs and explain styling options confidently.
- Experience in retail sales within a salon or beauty setting is preferred.
- Competence in managing front desk operations such as scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and handling payments efficiently.
