Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HCA/Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and support to individuals in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments. Responsibilities

- Assist residents or clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Engage in light housekeeping duties such as cleaning personal spaces and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Monitor health status by observing physical and emotional conditions, reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages social interaction.




- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques using proper lifting methods to ensure safety for both the individual and caregiver.

Requirements

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care settings is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of patient care practices, including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for transfers or mobility assistance.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures in accordance with healthcare guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills with a caring attitude towards residents or clients.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Basic skills in cleaning, meal preparation, and general caregiving tasks to support overall well-being.
