Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $55,000 – $85,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist to manage claims, denials, and payer relationships across the revenue cycle. The role combines coding fluency with payer expertise — making sure providers get paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Submit claims to payers and follow up through adjudication
- Investigate and appeal denied claims with strong supporting documentation
- Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and prior authorisation requirements
- Maintain accurate billing data and reconcile payer remittance advice
- Stay current on coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and payer policy changes
- Partner with providers and clinical staff on documentation improvements

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle operations
- Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Familiarity with EHR and practice management systems (Epic, Athena, Kareo, AdvancedMD)




- Experience with payer portals and clearinghouse workflows
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CRC) is a plus
