Hotel Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to manager a hotel in Swift Current, SK.

This is not a typical hotel management role. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is excited by the opportunity to help transform an existing property into a refreshed and successful hospitality destination. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the property, building a strong team, implementing operational standards, and driving the property's long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead all day-to-day hotel operations
- Assist with renovation planning and property transition initiatives
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop hotel team members
- Manage front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services departments
- Drive guest satisfaction and online review performance
- Monitor budgets, labour costs, and operating expenses
- Develop local business relationships and community partnerships
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company standards
- Identify opportunities to increase occupancy, revenue, and profitability
- Work closely with ownership and senior leadership on strategic initiatives

Qualifications

- Previous motel or hotel management experience required
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Experience managing property budgets, labour,



and operational performance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to improve guest satisfaction and operational results
- Experience with property management systems is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability
- Reopening, or property transition experience is considered a strong asset
