Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources position located in Ottawa, ON. The role involves managing day-to-day HR activities, including administering HR policies, supporting employee benefits programs, and maintaining accurate personnel records. The HR professional will handle recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinate performance management activities, and assist with training and development initiatives.

Responsibilities also include advising employees and managers on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with labor laws and organizational guidelines,



and contributing to HR projects that enhance workforce engagement and organizational effectiveness. The position requires close collaboration with internal departments and clear, professional communication with staff at all levels.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support core HR functions across the organization.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including development, implementation, and communication of programs and procedures.
- Experience in Personnel Management, including record keeping, employee relations, and supporting performance and attendance management.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; qualified HR certification (e.g., CHRP or equivalent) is an asset.
- Familiarity with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, and ability to apply them in daily HR practice.
- Proficient in HR information systems and standard office software, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive environment and to adapt to changing organizational needs.
