The successful candidate will have 4–9+ years of legal expertise, including in-house experience, and a solid background in commercial agreements. You'll collaborate effectively with senior leaders and the North American legal team while advising on potential operational and legal risks. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary legal advisor for the Canadian operations
- Draft and negotiate customer and vendor agreements
- Develop compliance and risk management frameworks
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel
- Facilitate internal legal training for staff Requirements:
- Must be a member of a Canadian Law Society
- 4-9+ years of relevant legal experience, including in-house roles
- Strong skills in negotiating commercial agreements
- Capacity to operate independently and proactively
