TalentWorld is recruiting a Licensed Millwright in Oakville, Ontario for one of its valued partners.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial machinery and equipment while supporting protected, reliable production operations, directly contributing to the success and operations of our partner company.
Afternoon Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM This is a unionized environment, and flexibility to work other shifts may be required based on operational needs and seniority.

Millwright Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Complete preventative and predictive maintenance
- Install and commission new machinery and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, gearbox, bearing, coupling, and mechanical drive systems
- Perform basic machining and welding as required
- Update maintenance records using a CMMS
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain safe work practices
- Assist with equipment modifications, installations,
and mechanical upgrades
Millwright Qualifications
- Licensed 433A Industrial Maintenance Millwright
- Industrial manufacturing experience is mandatory
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and automated equipment
- Basic machining and welding experience; MIG, stick, brazing, or oxy-acetylene considered an asset
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and calipers
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Experience using a CMMS considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Flexibility to work alternate shifts based on operational requirements and the unionized environment
