InnosysTech is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Consultant / Security Architect to support a major public-sector cybersecurity and infrastructure modernization initiative in Regina, Saskatchewan.

This role is suited for a senior technical architect with strong experience in security architecture, infrastructure modernization, enterprise architecture governance, and cybersecurity frameworks .

The successful candidate will be expected to design secure technical solutions, produce and defend architecture artefacts, provide technical governance, and support implementation across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead cybersecurity architecture and infrastructure security design for enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Design technical solutions and produce architecture deliverables including solution designs, technical standards, integration patterns, and documented design decisions.
- Provide cybersecurity oversight for infrastructure renewal, modernization, and legacy environment retirement.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical governance, and architecture review boards.
- Provide technical direction across infrastructure, network, cloud, identity, endpoint, application, and security teams.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise cybersecurity policies, standards, and architecture principles.
- Apply recognized security frameworks including ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls , or equivalent.
- Assess security risks and recommend appropriate technical controls and mitigation strategies.
- Support approved solutions through design, implementation, and operational transition.
- Contribute to cybersecurity maturity and enterprise security improvement initiatives.
- Support secure cloud, network, identity, endpoint,



integration, and data architectures.
- Collaborate with business, technical, cybersecurity, governance, and public-sector stakeholders.
- Support DevSecOps, secure CI/CD, and security automation initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications
- Approximately 8–10+ years of progressive professional IT experience .
- Significant experience working as a Security Architect, Cybersecurity Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect, or IT Architect .
- Demonstrated experience personally designing technical solutions, not only implementing designs created by others.
- Experience producing and defending architecture documentation, technical standards, solution designs, integration patterns, and architecture decisions.
- Experience acting as a lead architect or owning a major technical subsystem or solution.
- Strong experience with technical governance, architecture reviews, standards development, and cross-team technical direction.
- Experience working within a formal architecture methodology such as TOGAF, SABSA, Zachman , or an equivalent enterprise architecture framework.
- Hands-on experience applying recognized information security frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, or CIS Controls .
- Broad technical experience across areas such as infrastructure, network, cloud, identity and access management, endpoint security, and data security.




- Demonstrated experience supporting solutions through both design and implementation .
- Experience across multiple enterprise projects, clients, or engagements.
- Previous government, public-sector, or Crown corporation experience .
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan for the 1st year.

Highly Preferred
- Direct experience with the Government of Saskatchewan .
- Experience with Saskatchewan Crown corporations or other Canadian provincial/federal government environments.
- Solid understanding of public-sector governance, procurement, privacy, legislative, and policy requirements.
- DevSecOps and security automation experience within enterprise CI/CD environments.
- Experience applying multiple architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman.
- Architecture certification such as TOGAF, SABSA , or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27002 or comparable security control frameworks.
- Full lifecycle architecture experience from strategy and planning through design, implementation, and ongoing support.
- Experience coordinating technical teams during incident or problem management activities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical discipline.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a senior security or infrastructure architect who has worked in complex government or enterprise environments and has personally led the design and implementation of secure technical solutions. Strong candidates will be comfortable presenting architecture decisions, working with governance bodies, setting technical standards, and providing technical direction across multiple teams.
- Previous Government of Saskatchewan experience will be considered a significant advantage.
