Role Overview: Engineers provide technical design, analysis, and review services to support safe, compliant, and reliable project execution. The role translates client specifications into accurate deliverables, ensures compliance with codes and standards, and supports project teams through disciplined engineering practices, clear communication, and timely issue resolution.

Robust engineering performance protects project schedules, budgets, and quality, strengthens client confidence, and supports predictable project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project discipline lead that will provide technical design and oversight to project team from project initiation to completion
- HVAC equipment and material selection and recommendation given diverse environments and specifications
- Actively participate in discipline and project reviews.
- Involvement and interface in full design build projects




- Quality monitoring and control over technical aspects of assigned projects for their discipline
- Supporting commissioning and project turnover processes
- Field engineering construction support.
- Ability to travel to various job sites as required

Experience & Qualifications:

- 5 – 8 year’s (progressive) experience
- Registration as P. Eng with APEGA
- Designing HVAC for spaces such as labs, pump houses, electrical buildings, office environments, shops, classified areas
- Plan engineering work execution
- Prepare key deliverables – Control diagrams, layouts, elevations, HVAC schedules
- Ensuring compliance to established Company, Client, and Project Standards
- Competent (fluent) in English (written, verbal, comprehension).
- Manage changing work priorities and timelines.
- Be receptive and responsive to client needs.
- Expertise with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and relevant engineering software.
- Effective communication and interaction skills to liaise between clients, vendors, employees
- Knowledge, understanding and application of applicable HVAC codes and standards including CSA, NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA and building codes

Employment Requirements · Remote position; must reside in Alberta.

· Valid driver’s license and acceptable abstract for client and vendor site visits (project / work dependent).

· Legally entitled to work in Canada and able to maintain a valid Canadian Social Insurance Number for the duration of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44.00-$54.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
