We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Janitorial Supervisor to lead our cleaning teams in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming workplace across our facilities. Duties
- Assign tasks to custodial staff, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify the quality of cleaning services and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper usage.
- Enforce safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and overall workplace safety.
- Document operational activities through reports, logs, and checklists to track progress and address issues promptly.
- Support team development by providing feedback, coaching, and recognizing outstanding performance.
Qualifications
- Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or team lead roles in janitorial or custodial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety standards applicable to commercial environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective team coordination and reporting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
