Our Prince George Fleet Maintenance division is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Truck and Transport Mechanic. As a successful candidate, your responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining our fleet of Oil Collection Trucks, Hydrovacs, Highway Trucks and off-road equipment, among other vehicles and equipment. At GFL, we pride ourselves on our leading edge fleet and equipment line that is meticulously cared for and regularly maintained by our dedicated team.

Please note, this position involves periodic travel to the field to respond to field breakdowns and service calls. Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic work on a wide range of mobile and stationary equipment. Complete repairs on all mechanical systems as required.

Participate in the GFL safety program and ensure compliance with all GFL and Fleet Maintenance safety standards, policies and procedures.



Ensure repaired equipment is properly tested for correct performance and operation.

Journeyman

Certification.

Experience with the CVIP Motor Vehicle Inspection Program. Class 5 Drivers License with a fairly clean drivers abstract required; Strong Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities on a wide range of machinery and equipment. Competitive wages.
