Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/Woman Glazier to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass and glazing systems in a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of windows, facades, mirrors, and other glass fixtures.

Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, install, and secure glass panels, windows, storefronts, and curtain walls according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute glazing tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently and safely.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, sealing, and applying weatherproofing materials to ensure long-lasting results.
- Collaborate with co-workers and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of building components.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.

Requirements





- Proven experience as a glazier/ apprentice with with a solid understanding of construction practices and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for glazing tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of curtainwall, skylights, custom glazing applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting glass components precisely.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights, kneel or crouch for extended periods.
