Reports to: General Supervisor, Field Services Shift: 7x7, 12h shifts, rotation of days and nights Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required Travel: up to 25% travel within Canada Relocation: This position does not offer relocation Inspect, service,
and repair mining equipment at customer sites Testing equipment to ensure peak performance Work independently and collaborate with other mechanics and apprentices in both shop and field settings Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification (Red Seal preferred) ~Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across mechanical systems ~ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and warranty specs ~ Experience in customer-facing roles and a solid understanding of relationship-building ~ No restriction accessing any customer mine sites and a valid Alberta driver’s license ~ Comfortable working solo in remote field conditions and open mine environments ~ Committed to safety, quality, and teamwork ~ Experience with Joy Global equipment is a bonus This posting reflects an existing vacancy within our organization.
