We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Korean-speaking Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team.
Requirements
- PSW Certificate required
- Fluent Korean — REQUIRED
- English — REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized patient care by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor health status according to care plans under supervision
- Support individuals with disabilities, dementia, or hospice needs by providing compassionate companionship and assistance
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living workplace
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure client safety during transfers or repositioning
- Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes in condition to healthcare team members promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home care,
or home care environments
- Strong background in patient care, senior care, hospice support, or caregiving roles
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role
- Excellent communication skills in Korean; proficiency in English is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and basic nursing practices
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker
