We are looking for a skilled, versatile, and dependable Landscape Carpenter to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys building, working outdoors, and tackling a wide variety of projects. You should be comfortable working independently or with one other person, taking direction when needed, and figuring out how to get the job done properly.

What You'll Be Doing

Your work will vary from day to day and may include:

- Framing and general carpentry
- Building decks, fences, gates, pergolas and other outdoor structures
- General woodworking and finish carpentry
- Using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Operating landscaping and construction equipment
- Laying pavers, patio stones, and completing hardscape projects
- Rough cutting and lawn maintenance
- Lawn care and general property maintenance (cutting, trimming, edging)
- Planting, weeding, cleanup, grading, and other landscape-related tasks
- Repair and maintenance work
- General odd jobs and helping wherever needed to keep projects moving
- Working independently or as part of a small crew
- Snow removal and winter maintenance during the winter season (Operating snow removal equipment such as skid steers, tractors, and loaders. Clearing snow and salting at commercial and industrial properties. Ensuring routes are safely and efficiently completed).

The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is capable, resourceful, and willing to do a bit of everything.



You need to be able to think on your feet in order to work through challenges.

You should have a solid set of practical skills and be comfortable learning new ones. The ideal candidate is someone who can look at a job, understand what needs to be done, and get to work.

You Need:

- Experience with carpentry, woodworking, or landscape construction
- Experience building fences, decks, or similar structures
- Ability to read basic measurements and work from plans or instructions
- Experience using power tools and hand tools
- Comfort operating equipment and machinery
- Experience with pavers or other hardscape work is an asset
- Basic lawn care and landscape maintenance skills
- A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- A willingness to take on different types of work and help wherever needed
- Good problem-solving and practical thinking skills
- A valid G Driver's Licence with a clean abstract

What This Job Is Like This is not a repetitive, one-task job. One day you might be framing a deck or building a fence; the next you could be laying pavers, doing rough cuts, fixing something on a property, helping with lawn care, or taking on a unique odd job.

We're a small operation, so being flexible, dependable, and willing to pitch in is extremely important.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week

Experience

- Carpentry: 2 years (preferred)
- Snow Removal: 2 years (preferred)
