Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Ensure all laundry is processed according to safety protocols and quality standards
- Sort laundry items by type and color to prevent damage or color bleeding
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and workspaces
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Follow proper handling procedures for delicate or special-care items
- Assist with other cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to support overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Skills
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, providing familiarity with hospitality standards
- Robust knowledge of laundry processes, including machine operation and stain removal techniques
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple loads during busy shifts
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to teamwork and guest service
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving laundry equipment throughout the shift
- Clear understanding of safety procedures related to laundry machinery and chemical handling
