As a key member of our team the Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing hotel linens, ensuring cleanliness and availability. They ensure that all linens meet quality standards before stocking supply areas and oversee the general cleanliness of the laundry area and equipment.

Manage the collection, sorting, washing, drying, folding, distribution, and stocking of hotel linens to maintain cleanliness and availability. Remove soiled linens from guestrooms or room attendant carts, separate items, and place them in the designated linen bins. Ensure cleanliness of equipment and work areas and assist with linen inventory counts.

Communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Supervisor regarding linen shortages on the floors. Perform minor sewing duties/repairs as required. Oversee inventory control of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment.

Check and maintain the chemical injection system, performing minor maintenance within the laundry area. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of chemicals, cleaning products, and correct handling procedures. Report equipment damage promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Previous housekeeping experience is considered an asset.

Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products. Ability to work mornings, evenings,

Registered Pension

Plan (RPP) eligibility after 1 year. Accommodations available for qualifying candidates. You will be eligible to receive wages starting from $18.25 to $22.00 per hour, this will be determined by your skill set, education and experience.
