Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronics).
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in electronics within the aerospace or transportation industry.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience, including: Baseline management, Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting, and Computer-based scheduling and reporting tools
- Candidates must be eligible to work on U.S. defense and space projects.

- Experience with Test Engineering design processes.
- Proven experience developing both test software and hardware solutions.
- Working knowledge of DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards.
- PMP (Project Management Skilled) certification.

- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills within global teams.
- Experience developing and maintaining management operating systems that facilitate effective communication and project visibility.
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the successful execution of Test Engineering projects. This individual will be responsible for leading engineering initiatives from concept through production, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer requirements. The successful candidate will leverage strong technical expertise, project management experience, and leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive project execution.
This role requires extensive experience in electronics engineering, project planning, risk management, and test solution development within an aerospace or transportation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate design and development activities within the test engineering function to meet customer requirements.
- Manage overall program execution, including scope, schedule, cost, technical performance, resources, and risk management.
- Establish and maintain detailed technical plans, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Lead solution definition activities from requirements gathering through design, development, validation and verification, production introduction, and qualification testing.
- Track and report project progress, costs, risks, milestones, and key performance indicators.
- Lead internal and external design reviews, technical reviews, and project coordination meetings.
- Develop, implement, and manage operating systems used to monitor project metrics and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and remove barriers to project execution to support on-time and cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Aerospace Engineering processes and applicable program requirements.
- May lead and direct the work of other engineering team members as required.
