Your New Role
As a Leasing Agent, you will play a key role in leasing activities across a residential portfolio. Working closely with property management and operations teams, you will manage prospective tenant inquiries, conduct property tours, and support the leasing process from initial contact through occupancy. This is a hands-on role suited to an energetic and customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships and maintaining high occupancy levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct apartment showings and follow up with prospects.
- Manage the full leasing process from inquiry to move-in.
- Advertise vacancies and maintain online listings.
- Screen applicants and review supporting documentation.
- Prepare leases and related leasing documents.
- Coordinate lease signings and move-in requirements.
- Monitor vacancies and occupancy trends.
- Work closely with property management and maintenance teams.
- Track leasing activity and provide reporting.
- Support leasing strategies to maximize occupancy.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 2+ years of experience in residential leasing, property management, or real estate.
- Knowledge of the Montreal rental market.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with leasing, CRM, or property management software.
- Understanding of Quebec residential leasing practices.
- Bilingualism in French and English
