We are now accepting applications for a Library Technician at St. Francis of Assisi Academy , a grades K-9 school located in de Winton (near Okotoks), Alberta. This is a part time position (0.50 FTE), 17.50 hours per week on average and runs concurrent with the school calendar.

Our successful candidate will have library training or equivalent relevant experience and the ability to interact in a positive manner with both students and teachers. A high level of computer literacy is required, including research skills, report writing, Insignia (Library Info Software) and proficiency with MS Office, and Google Apps for Education.

Technician will have organizational and management skills, a commitment to fostering literacy and knowledge of a wide spectrum of age-appropriate literature.
