- Boiler installation and service preferred but willing to train
- Assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets and water heaters
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals to ensure proper installation and functioning of plumbing systems
- Respond to plumbing emergencies or service calls in a timely manner
Experience
- Boiler experience preferred
- Valid drivers license
- Clean drivers abstract
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
