The Opportunity
Certified Millwright – hourly wage $46.80.
What You’ll Do
- Focus on minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and good troubleshooting techniques.
- Prepare maintenance reports by making recommendations as necessary for improvements.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending education workshops.
- Repair and replace pumps, valves, motors, etc.
- Perform quality checks on all work performed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain documentation as required by Atlantic Packaging.
- Utilize documentation in CMMS.
- Install recent machines and equipment.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and other duties as assigned.
- Inform production workers of routine mechanical preventive maintenance plans.
What You Bring
- Must have a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License – 433A.
- Red Seal Journeyman certification.
- Level 3, 4 and 5 Apprentice.
- Minimum 2‑3 years previous experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Exposure to mechanical devices, pneumatic controls and welding/cutting.
- All‑position welding preferred (stainless steel pipe, guard repairs, etc.).
