We're a new location inside the Carleton Place Regional Health Hub, with an optometrist clinic on site weekly. The role is dispensing-focused: measurements, fittings, lens consultation and patient care. Store management, ordering and reporting are handled separately. Full-time or part-time, with flexibility for the right person.
What you'll do
- Interpret prescriptions and dispense eyewear and contact lenses
- Take all measurements required for prescription eyewear
- Fit, adjust and repair frames
- Advise patients on lens options, coatings and frame selection
- Verify finished eyewear against prescription and handle remakes
- Support insurance and direct billing submissions
- Provide technical guidance to our optical staff
What you need
- Current registration with the College of Opticians of Ontario, in good standing
Assets: contact lens fitting certification, refracting licence, direct billing experience.
