About Aboki Grill
Aboki Grill is a Nigerian grill and comfort-food kitchen in Vancouver's East Hastings. We cook bold Nigerian and West African dishes — jollof, suya, pepper soups, swallow and more — for delivery, pickup, and weekly meal plans. We're a small, quick-moving, friendly kitchen, and we're growing.
The Role
We're hiring a part-time Line Cook to prep, cook, and plate our menu to spec on a busy line.
What you'll do
- Prep and cook menu items consistently and to recipe
- Grill, fry, and assemble orders for delivery, pickup, and meal plans
- Keep your station clean, sanitary, and organized; follow food-safety standards
- Help with opening and closing prep and stock
What we're looking for
- Some line or kitchen experience (fast-casual or restaurant)
- Calm and quick under pressure; reliable and punctual
- FoodSafe Level 1 an asset, or willing to get it
- Weekend availability a plus
- Nigerian or West African cooking experience welcome — not required, we'll train
