Toscana Italian Grill is looking for an experienced and dependable Line Cook to join our team. We are a busy, family-owned Italian restaurant focused on quality food, consistency, and great hospitality.

Responsibilites

- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Work efficiently on assigned stations during busy lunch and dinner services.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portioning.
- Complete daily prep and ensure your station is properly stocked.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Communicate effectively with chefs, managers, and other kitchen staff.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Properly rotate, label, date, and store food products.
- Minimize food waste and follow portion-control standards.
- Support other kitchen stations when required.

Qualifications

- Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced restaurant environment.




- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
- Experience with Italian cuisine, pasta, pizza, sauté, grill, or similar stations is an asset.
- Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
