We are looking for an experienced Payday Loan Verifier to join our team.

Requirements:

· 1+ year of hands-on experience in the payday lending industry in Canada.

· Experience working specifically with payday loan applications

.

· The candidate must have personally processed and verified loan applications before — this is an important requirement.

· Experience with customer verification, application review, income verification and fraud/risk checks.

· Knowledge of the Canadian payday lending market, preferably Alberta and/or Ontario

.

· Fluent English.

· Understanding of credit scoring and the factors used to assess payday loan applications is a robust advantage.

Responsibilities:

· Review and verify payday loan applications.

· Verify applicant information, income and supporting documents.





· Identify inconsistencies, potential fraud and high-risk applications.

· Follow internal verification and approval procedures.

· Work with scoring/risk criteria when evaluating applications.

· Provide insights into the current payday lending verification and scoring process in Canada.

Additional focus:

We are particularly interested in candidates who can provide practical insights into:

· How payday loan scoring models work.

· What key factors are typically considered when assessing applications.

· Verification criteria and processes used in Alberta and Ontario.

Candidates with experience in credit scoring, risk analytics or scoring model development are also welcome, especially if they have worked in payday lending.
