Energetic Services Inc. is an industry leader in oilfield logistics & specialty services with locations in BC and AB. We currently have a rewarding full time, permanent employment prospect for a Logistics Manager at our Grande Prairie, AB branch.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Manager, you would manage and be accountable for the day-to-day operation and administration of our fleet. Your duties would include:
· Supervising and directing our fleet of personnel and equipment.
· Communicating with customers, and coordinating and dispatching the necessary personnel and fleet equipment to fulfill commitments.
· Exercising independent judgement by creatively dispatching equipment and operators in order to maximize fleet utilization.
· Planning, sourcing, coordinating and tracking company and third party resources for upcoming and ongoing, multi-week or monthly projects.
· Providing ongoing training, support and feedback to drivers.
· Evaluating the work of drivers.
· Enforcing company policies and expectations.
· Building and maintaining customer relationships.
Experience & Skills Required:
· 5 years of dispatch experience in an oilfield transportation & service business.
· Good knowledge of the oilfield industry and a positive understanding of oilfield transportation & service operations.
· Experience with eLogs, hours of service & transportation of dangerous goods.
· Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
· Safety and environmentally conscious.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Windows systems.
· Work well as part of a team.
