Position Summary Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager this position is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure maximum production efficiency and equipment reliability The Millwright will work closely with production engineering and maintenance personnel to support continuous improvement initiatives and minimize downtime Perform preventative predictive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility assets Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve equipment failures Install align dismantle and move machinery and industrial equipment using appropriate tools and rigging techniques Read and interpret blueprints mechanical drawings schematics and equipment manuals Inspect machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and potential failures Repair or replace defective components bearings motors gearboxes pumps valves and chains Support equipment upgrades modifications and continuous improvement projects Collaborate with electricians and production personnel to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency Maintain accurate maintenance records work orders and preventative maintenance documentation Follow all company safety policies lockouttagout procedures and regulatory requirements Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for recurring equipment issuesAssist with facility maintenance and special projects as requiredRequired Qualifications Currently holds a valid 433 A Licence Red Seal in Ontario3 years experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environmentStrong Knowledge of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manualsStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience in electrical troubleshooting and automated manufacturing equipment Experience with PLC controlled systems and robotics Welding and fabrication experience Familiarity with CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management Systems Forklift boom lift or scissor lift certification Physical Demands Working Conditions General Office Environment PC useStooping Standing Frequent Walking Heavy Lifting frequent 25 lbs up to 50lbsVariable handpower tool useWhat we offer you Pay Range is typically between 3000 to 4300 per hour Please note the wage information shown above is a general guideline only Wages are based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations G&W;
