Edmonton Community Foundation

Edmonton

Behind every successful marketing campaign is someone who brings strategy to life. From creating meaningful connections with donors and community members to helping people discover opportunities to make a difference, outstanding marketing helps amplify ECF's impact. If you're passionate about delivering campaigns, using data to improve results and collaborating with others to bring ideas to life, we'd love to meet you.

ABOUT EDMONTON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Edmonton is a city shaped by people who care deeply about their community. Edmonton Community Foundation (ECF) exists to harness that generosity — connecting donors, charities and community partners to enrich lives and build a vibrant city, now and for generations to come.

Each year, ECF distributes more than $44 million in grants and scholarships, made possible through the generosity of over 2,600 donors. Through more than 1,750 endowed funds representing over $1 billion in assets under management, ECF has granted more than $480 million to the community since 1990.

As the largest non-governmental funder of Edmonton’s charitable sector, ECF plays a unique role in identifying emerging community needs and directing resources where they can have the greatest impact. By working collaboratively with donors, nonprofits, volunteers, government, and community leaders, ECF helps ensure Edmonton continues to grow as an inclusive, resilient, and thriving community.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Marketing Associate to plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, drive day-to-day digital marketing activities and support ECF’s broader marketing needs, advancing strategic priorities and communicating community impact.

You'll be responsible for marketing across assigned organizational portfolios, working across ECF to develop, execute and optimize campaigns that build awareness, deepen engagement, and support organizational priorities. Beyond campaign work, you'll plan and execute digital marketing activities across email, paid search, and other channels, serve as the go-to marketing contact for general requests across the organization, and build reporting that tracks performance and informs ongoing improvements.

You'll manage this work from the planning phase through to reporting, taking ownership of projects that connect donors, charities and community members with opportunities to make a difference. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution — developing and optimizing campaigns across channels and using data to drive measurable results. Working within ECF's established brand and marketing strategy, you'll have the responsibility to run your portfolios while collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization.

You’ll lead the campaign planning and execution, paid promotion, campaign email, landing pages and performance reporting, while working closely with the Communications team, which leads editorial storytelling, organic social media, newsletters, podcasts and website content.
