Immediate opening for Part time Math Tutor in Richmond, BC. Eye Level Richmond is hiring dedicated tutors to work with elementary and middle school students (Kindergarten to Grade 11) in small group settings. No lesson planning required - all curriculum materials provided with full training.

Position Details

- Schedule: 1–5 days per week during after-school hours
- Tuesday to Friday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (optional)
- Location: President Plaza, Richmond Central (free parking available)
- Teaching Format: Small groups (up to 4 students)
- Pay: $18–$30/hour based on experience

Qualifications Required:

- Strong math skills covering K-10 BC curriculum (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, fractions, word problems)
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to consistent weekly schedule
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple students at different learning levels

Responsibilities

- Teach small groups (up to 4 students) using Eye Level's self-paced learning methodology
- Guide students through individualized worksheets and exercises
- Correct assignments and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain progress notes and communicate daily updates with parents
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment
