At Aspen Aesthetics, we are a Medical Aesthetics & Wellness Clinic in west Edmonton. We are a close-knit team looking for another to join our growing work family. We are looking for a team player who is likes to work with people, is organized & outgoing, is detail-oriented, is a self-starter, enjoys creating content or designing marketing materials, interested in skincare and/or wellness, and thrives in a small team environment but can also work independently.

About this Position

We are recruiting a full-time Medical Aesthetician/Clinic Assistant who has ability to build robust client relationships and is sensitive to individual client needs. This hybrid position will be responsible for performing treatments, conducting skincare recommendations, assisting with reception and clinic operations, and supporting other practitioners as needed. This role requires excellent communication & sales skills, adaptability to changes, ability to multi-task, and able to convert leads and inquiries into sales/bookings.

The Medical Aesthetician/Clinic Assistant will be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner with both clients and with fellow team members. The position must always present a professional appearance with positive attitude, and maintain an excellent attendance record.

To start, this position will train in the Clinic Assistant role first before transitioning to perform treatments.

This is a permanent full-time position. (Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any students who will be returning to school for the fall/winter semester.)

Shifts: Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri - 10:00am-5:30pm; Thurs - 9:00am-6:30pm (excluding stat holidays); occasional shift extension for events*.*

Hours: 37 hours / week

What You'll Do:

- Greet clients as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate services with staff
- Introducing clients to new services or promotions,



provide general information about our services to clients
- Address lead calls/inquiries, conduct general follow-up calls, and booking services in a timely manner
- Tracking of tasks, duties & deadlines for the clinic
- Address email inquiries, manage calendars/appointment bookings, and chart general notes on patient profiles
- Sale of skincare products, conduct skin analysis & body composition scans, capture before/after/progress photos
- Perform treatments safely and proficiently with confidence, advice clients of before and after care, identify contraindications, and documentation/charting of treatments
- Setup & clean-up of treatment rooms; maintenance, cleaning, and sanitization of devices
- Create materials/content/templates for in-house or social media marketing, posting/maintaining clinic's social media account
- Assist with maintenance of appearance of reception, waiting room & other public areas
- Build relationships with our clients, maintain customers confidence and keep information confidential
- Assist in other side duties, such as: dusting, floors, laundry, washrooms, setup/clean-up treatment rooms, stocking of supplies, etc.

Core Requirement:

- Education: Completed, or in progress of completing a medical aesthetician program
- Experience in: medispa or medical aesthetics clinic is preferred, but not required.
- Past experience in: hospitality, sales, or service industry is an asset. (Examples are: server, concierge, bartender, retail, sales of any type, etc.)
- Familiarity with:



Instagram/Facebook & Canva is required.
- Reception & scheduling/calendar management is an asset
- Comfortable with Windows computers & android tablets
- Experience with applications such as: Microsoft Outlook & Powerpoint, Canva, Google Calendar & Spreadsheets, online POS applications
- Social media & content creation skills to create/share reels, posts, and stories (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Exceptional in customer service, sales, retail, or hospitality field
- Excellent communication skills & telephone manners
- Enjoys working with people
- Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to work under pressure, can multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
- Familiar with applications such as: Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, online booking platforms (Janeapp), online POS applications is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
