RN/Medical Assistant updates a patient's health records, prepares examination rooms, and assists family physicians with clinical procedures and administrative tasks.

Job Summary

We are seeking RN/Assistant to join our family doctor's office. In this role, you will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure high-quality patient care. You will serve as the primary point of contact for patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, managing patient flow and assisting providers during examinations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

- Prepare patients for examination by escorting them to rooms.
- Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight.
- Document patient medical history, current medications, and chief complaints in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Assist physicians during routine check-ups, minor surgical procedures, and physical exams.
- Administer injections, immunizations,



and medications as directed by the physician.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for external processing.
- Sterilize medical instruments and sanitize examination rooms between patients.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventative care.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a family medicine or primary care setting preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software (PSS)
- Solid interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
