About the Role

We’re looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our marketing team. This hands-on role connects creative direction with day-to-day production. You’ll work closely with our Lead Strategist and our Lead Content Creator to turn campaign ideas into finished work across print, digital, social media and video.

You might lay out a brochure one day and create animated type for a video the next. We need someone with solid design fundamentals, strong motion skills and the judgment to take an idea from a rough brief to a polished final piece

Responsibilities

- Work with the Lead Strategist & Art Director to develop campaign ideas and carry the creative direction through to final production.
- Partner with our Lead Content Creator & Videographer on animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, end cards and other video graphics.
- Create kinetic typography and motion content for social media, digital advertising, presentations and campaigns.
- Design brochures, sales materials, signage, direct mail, event pieces and other print collateral.
- Prepare accurate, press-ready files and communicate with printers or production partners when needed.
- Adapt campaign creative for different formats while keeping the work consistent with the brand.
- Create storyboards,



layouts and style frames to help the team agree on a direction before production begins.
- Build practical templates and reusable assets that make recurring work faster and more consistent.
- Take part in creative reviews, respond well to feedback and keep multiple projects moving on schedule.

Qualifications and Skills

- A university degree in visual arts with specialization in graphic design, digital media, or completion of a college diploma program in graphic arts.
- Multimedia, graphic, and motion design background with a portfolio showcasing high-impact print, digital, and kinetic typography projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with specialized expertise in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Sharp eye for typography, spatial layout, color theory, pacing, and visual hierarchy, backed by hands-on knowledge of print production (bleeds, color profiles, resolution, and file setup).
- Highly organized communicator who translates direction into creative strategy, asks high-value questions, and ensures flawless attention to detail.

Nice to Have

- Experience in construction, manufacturing, architecture or another technical industry.
- Video editing, colour correction, audio editing or photography skills.
- Experience supporting content shoots or working on location.
- Familiarity with Canva or other template-based design tools.

****Compensation: The anticipated base annual range for this role is $65,000-$75,000. Actual base annual range offered within this range may differ based on a range of factors, including individual experience, education, skills, and organizational needs.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
