Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Operate packing line equipment efficiently, ensuring accurate portioning and proper packaging of products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and packing areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Serve food to customers or staff promptly, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies, rotating stock,
and notifying supervisors of shortages
- Support meal preparation during busy periods, helping to meet production deadlines with accuracy and speed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards, handling practices, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail when preparing ingredients, cooking, and packaging products
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Basic understanding of serving techniques and food presentation is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
