Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for clients, managing appointments, and supporting daily salon operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure a positive first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling using POS systems and maintain an organized booking calendar
- Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information about services and promotions
- Assist clients with product demos and upselling salon products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, retail shelves, and waiting lounge
- Support merchandising efforts by displaying products attractively and restocking as needed
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage client records efficiently, updating contact information and service history

Requirements





- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or reception roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for handling transactions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of service principles to upsell services confidently
- Experience or interest in technology sales or technical sales is advantageous
- Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
