We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Mutual Fund Operations Specialist to support the accurate and timely processing of financial and non-financial transactions. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund administration, experience with Unitrax Recordkeeping System and working knowledge of FundSERV.

Daily Responsibilities A typical day in this role will focus primarily on transaction processing, quality control, reconciliation, issue investigation, and client service.

Primary Responsibilities

- Pre-screen, prepare and input all financial and various non-financial transactions by standard cut off times. Includes but is not limited to:
- Account set-up
- Address changes
- Investor changes
- Redemptions
- Purchases
- Switches
- Non-complex NIGOs
- Direct trade and wire order placement and settlement
- Monitor and clear Workflow/Capture items within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Apply all quality control procedures.
- Reconciliation and settlement of daily trades.
- Daily deposits and cheque processes.
- Message all accounts where unusual actions have occurred.
- Audit transactions, question procedures, suggest improvements to processes and give accurate feedback to team members to help reduce errors and ensure a high accuracy rate.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external client groups.
- Work with Manager to update Desk Operating Procedures and other tasks as assigned.
- Use strong technical and analytical skills in running/debugging various applications and macros.
- Responsible for quality of processing / client experience for assigned client groups.
- Positive impact through effective management of workflow and support of team.




- Effective resolution of escalated client or process issues.
- Participate in client-specific process reviews and improvements, generally as assigned by Manager or Senior Manager.

Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund administration and the Dealer network.
- Expertise in Unitrax Recordkeeping System.
- Working knowledge of FundSERV.
- Strong technical and analytical skills in running/debugging various applications and macros.

Must-Have Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Good working knowledge / experience in the financial services industry, specifically in Mutual Fund and Segregated Funds administration.
- Strong understanding of Mutual Fund and Segregated Fund administration.
- Expertise in Unitrax Recordkeeping System.
- Working knowledge of FundSERV.

- Completion of IFIC Mutual Funds Operations Course.
- Unitrax Recordkeeping System knowledge.
- FundSERV knowledge.
- Ability to read/write French is an asset.

The expected base salary range for this position is $22 – $24 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
