Network Engineer

Contract Mississauga, ON

Visa: Canadian CitizenPROpen Work Permit

Responsibilities Build, secure, and troubleshoot local and wide area physical or software-defined networks. Support data center setup and decommissioning processes. Manage hypervisors, virtual machines, resource allocation, and high-availability clusters using VMware vSphere and ESXi.

Support networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and TCP/IP. Perform packet analysis and troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark. Support VMware vCenter, vMotion, ESXi hardening, SAN, and virtual switches.

Bridge physical hardware and operating systems while supporting foundational infrastructure across storage and ESX environments.

Required Skills Experience in Storage, ESX, or Networking Engineering with hands-on experience in data center setup and decommissioning processes.



Strong experience building, securing, and troubleshooting physical or software-defined networks.

Experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi, including hypervisors, virtual machines, resource allocation, and high-availability clusters. Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, TCP/IP, Wireshark, vCenter, vMotion, ESXi hardening, SAN, and virtual switches. Robust foundational knowledge of networking and its integration with physical hardware, operating systems, storage, and ESX environments.

Desired Skills

Experience bridging physical hardware and operating systems across data center environments. Exposure to modern containerization and multi-cloud platforms.
