M30 Retail Services is hiring NIGHT Fixture Installer/Display Builder(s) in ON - Thunder Bay to join a night crew, working on section renovations in a big box retailer. We are looking for 6 mature individual(s) with building experience. Must be 18 years to apply.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Renovation and building of new fixtures/features in retail location
- Installation of displays and/or fixtures
- General labour as required
Qualifications
- Retail experience considered an asset / comfortable reading building prints or planograms
- Carpentry experience is required
- Fixture installer and building experience required
- Own tools to use during project (hammer, screwdrivers, knife, level, tape measure, cordless drill etc.)
- Handy person with common sense and excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Experience with pallet jack an asset
- Physically fit and solid. Capable of standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting and lifting continuously for the duration of the shift
- PPE required:
CSA Approved Hard Hat / Casque de securite approuve par la CSA, CSA Approved Safety Footwear / Chaussures de securite approuvees par la CSA, CSA approved protective eyewear, Safety Vest / Gilet de securite, Work Gloves / Gants de travail - All are to be provided by employee and worn each night.
- Safety Certification required: OWSA - Employee, WHMIS - within the last 12 months / SIMDUT - au cours des 12 derniers mois
- Able to work nights, and get to job site reliably
Rate: $23/hour + vacation pay Location: ON - Thunder Bay
Hours/week: up to 40 hours per week / jusqu'a 40 heures par semaine hours a week
