LeverageTek is actively seeking an Operational Coordinator (Azure Cloud Governance) for a 1-year term position with its Ottawa based customer.

Key Tasks

- Monitor and track Azure cloud spending & budget utilization.
- Manage Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) requests, granting/revoking permissions securely.
- Assist IT teams in tracking service desk tickets, change management checklists, and release schedules.
- Track and fulfill provisioning requests for Azure resources (e.g., virtual machines, databases, storage).
- Enforce cloud governance, tagging policies, and security best practices defined by cloud architects.
- Maintain documentation regarding network environments, compliance reports, and operational procedures.
- Monitor compliance with operational policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements across Azure environments.
- Support capacity planning and service lifecycle activities, including resource tracking, renewals, and decommissioning efforts.
- Facilitate regular reviews of cloud subscriptions, resource usage, licenses, and service allocations to support governance and cost management objectives.
- Support audit activities by gathering operational records, access reviews, compliance evidence, and cloud governance documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through process optimization, automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities.

Key Qualifications

- 3+ Years with Azure services in IT operations, cloud administration, or administrative coordination.
- Azure Cost Management and FinOps Reporting.
- Cloud Service Provisioning.
