Lead operational excellence initiatives as the Director of Operations for BCIHS. Drive affordable housing strategies and ensure quality tenant support across multiple properties while maintaining compliance and safety. The Director of Operations is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the COO at BCIHS.
You will oversee all operational aspects of the Affordable Housing portfolio and Maintenance Operations. Your key responsibilities include designing business strategies, managing staff, and ensuring property standards, all aimed at providing safe and affordable housing. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to enhance operations
- Oversee BCIHS property operations and management staff
- Establish policy adherence and compliance with safety regulations
- Manage and direct tenant support services effectively
- Foster interdepartmental collaboration for integrated operations Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance or Property Management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in housing or social service roles
- Solid leadership skills focused on operations and process improvement
- Familiarity with Indigenous community issues and culture
- Knowledge of BC residential tenancy legislation Utilize your strategic and operational leadership skills to enhance BCIHS's affordable housing initiatives and tenant support services.
