Duties

- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations using medical terminology and analysis skills.
- Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, and patient education to address musculoskeletal issues.
- Manage case documentation efficiently using Word processing, Microsoft Word, and case management systems to ensure accurate records of patient progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate acute care and pediatric treatments.
- Communicate clearly with patients in multiple languages, including bilingual or multilingual interactions, ensuring understanding of treatment procedures and home care instructions.




- Maintain organizational skills by scheduling appointments effectively using Microsoft Outlook and managing time efficiently during busy clinic hours.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, mechanical knowledge related to musculoskeletal health, and current osteopathic practices to provide evidence-based care.

Experience

- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting, preferably with acute care or pediatrics exposure.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite—Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook—for documentation and communication purposes.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations in multilingual or bilingual environments; French language skills are highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of nursing practices, medical terminology, and case management principles relevant to osteopathic treatment plans.
- Previous roles requiring analysis skills for diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions and developing effective treatment strategies.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to human anatomy and physiology enhances the quality of patient care provided.
