Role Description This is a contract, on-site Painter role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Painter will prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as required. Daily tasks include applying paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, following project specifications and safety standards.

The Painter will protect surrounding areas, maintain tools and equipment, and ensure clean, organized workspaces. The role also involves reviewing work orders, communicating progress with site supervisors, and meeting project timelines and quality expectations.

Finish carpentry work. Knowing that is an asset but not a requirement.

Qualifications





- Ability to work with a variety of paint products and coatings.
- Proficiency in painting and decorating techniques for interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, and specialty finishes.
- Experience with general painting methods, including brush and roller application, edge cutting, and surface preparation.
- Skill in spray painting, including safe operation, basic maintenance of spray equipment, and achieving consistent coverage - is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce clean lines, smooth finishes, and high-quality results.
- Knowledge of job-site safety practices, including use of PPE, ladders, scaffolds, and safe handling of materials.
- Reliable transportation to job sites within the Greater Toronto Area and ability to work flexible hours based on project needs.
- Previous experience as a skilled painter in construction or renovation settings
- Finish carpentry is an asset
