Adventureland Daycare & OSC is looking for a part-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team starting September 8, 2026.

This is a consistent Monday to Friday afternoon position, perfect for an educator looking for a part-time schedule while still being part of a supportive and active childcare team.

What the Role Looks Like

As a part-time educator, you’ll work alongside our classroom teams to support children and help ensure their afternoons are safe, engaging, and enjoyable.

Your day may include

- Supporting educators with daily classroom routines.
- Engaging with children through play and age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting indoor and outdoor play.
- Helping with transitions, meals, snacks, and daily routines.
- Building positive relationships with children.
- Encouraging positive social interactions and respectful behaviour.
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Supporting the classroom team wherever help is needed.
- Communicating professionally and respectfully with children, families, and staff.

What We’re Looking For

- Alberta ECE Level 1, 2, or 3 certification.
- Previous childcare experience is an asset.
- Experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting is an asset.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Warm, patient, and caring.
- Positive and team-oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a busy childcare environment.
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $23.05-$28.62 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
