Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using multi-line phone systems and front desk software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring a positive experience
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying transactions, updating records, and balancing daily revenue reports
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining clear communication with guests and staff
- Answer incoming calls promptly using proper phone etiquette, directing inquiries to appropriate departments or personnel
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring guest access,
ensuring safety procedures are followed during night shifts
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options to enhance guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or hospitality roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse range of guests effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and front desk technology is advantageous
- Ability to handle guest concerns with patience and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and hotel procedures enhances your ability to excel in this role
