Part time Sports Coaches

CK FlexPlex is looking for enthusiastic and reliable coaches to lead a variety of recreational sports programs, including pickleball, soccer, volleyball, multi-sport activities, and more.

We are seeking individuals who enjoy working with people of all ages and can create a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment for participants of different skill levels.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead engaging practices, clinics, leagues, and recreational programs
- Teach sport-specific skills, rules, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Adapt activities to suit different ages, abilities, and experience levels
- Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and positive feedback
- Ensure programs are safe, organized, inclusive, and enjoyable
- Set up and put away equipment as required
- Communicate professionally with participants, parents, and CK FlexPlex staff
- Follow all facility policies and safety procedures

Qualifications:

- Previous coaching, instructing, or sport leadership experience is preferred
- Experience working with children and youth is strongly preferred
- Knowledge and experience in one or more sports,



such as pickleball, soccer, volleyball, badminton, basketball, or multi-sport programming
- Coaching certifications are considered an asset
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is considered an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Dependable, energetic, patient, and comfortable leading groups
- Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check when working with children and youth

This is a part-time position with hours based on program schedules, registrations, and facility needs. Evening and weekend availability may be required. If you are passionate about sports and enjoy helping others learn, develop their skills, and have fun, we would love to hear from you!
