- Collaborate with medical teams to develop and modify patient-specific treatment plans.
- Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed in accordance with medical terminology and clinical guidelines.
- Educate patients on proper medication administration, storage,
and potential adverse effects to promote safe use.
- Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions dispensed, patient interactions, and medication histories in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Valid pharmacist license in good standing with relevant licensing authorities.
- Proven experience working in hospital or acute care settings, with a strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy operations.
- Experience in pediatric pharmacy or caring for pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care through excellent communication skills and empathy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and drug interactions.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
